Terms of Use

1. About these terms

These Terms of Use govern Apertelle for Android (com.apertelle.android) and its related creation services, provided by BAO TENG TECHNOLOGY LIMITED (Google Play developer name: BaoTeng). “We” means the provider and “you” means the person using the service.

Please read these terms before using the service. If you do not agree, do not use it. The Privacy Policy explains data processing; accepting these terms does not substitute for any separate consent required for that processing. Google Play and other services you choose may have their own terms.

2. Eligibility and your workspace

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into an agreement under applicable law. You are responsible for lawful use and for securing your device and workspace.

Apertelle normally creates an anonymous workspace without email/password registration. Creations, credits and verified purchases are associated with that workspace. Reinstalling or changing devices does not guarantee recovery of the same workspace, history or balance. Use the app's Restore option for eligible Google Play purchases; restoration depends on verification and does not promise restoration of every consumed credit or past creation.

3. AI creation

Apertelle creates images and short videos from selected photos, prompts, templates and settings using online AI services. An internet connection and available credits or entitlements may be required. Free installation does not mean free generation.

AI results can be inaccurate, unexpected, non-unique or unsuitable for your intended use. Review results before sharing or relying on them. Results are not professional advice, evidence that an event happened, or a guarantee about a person's appearance or conduct. Availability, completion times and output quality can vary.

4. Your content and permitted use

You retain any rights you already hold in your inputs. You grant us permission to transmit, process, store and display those inputs and resulting media to provide the creation, history, delivery and support functions you request, including processing by service providers described in the Privacy Policy. This permission does not transfer ownership of your inputs to us.

You must have the rights and permissions needed for submitted content, including another person's image. Rights in AI output depend on applicable law and third-party rights; we do not guarantee copyright protection, exclusivity or freedom from infringement.

Do not use the service to:

• Create or distribute child sexual exploitation material, non-consensual intimate imagery, or sexualized depictions of minors.
• Harass, threaten, defraud, unlawfully impersonate someone or misrepresent generated content in a way that harms others.
• Infringe copyright, trademarks, privacy, publicity or other rights, or submit material you are not entitled to process.
• Promote unlawful violence or otherwise create or distribute unlawful content.
• Bypass payment or access controls, abuse rewards, disrupt the service, extract credentials or access another workspace without authorization.

Report inappropriate output through Result → Report this creation or the in-app feedback form. We may restrict abusive requests or access where reasonably necessary to protect users, the service or legal obligations.

5. Subscriptions, credit packs and prices

Purchases are processed by Google Play. The product, localized price, billing period, benefits, taxes and any offer conditions displayed in the app and Google Play purchase confirmation apply to the purchase. Review them before confirming payment.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through Google Play under the conditions shown at purchase. An annual billing period and a weekly credit-allocation schedule are different: an annual plan may be billed yearly while supplying credits weekly. Do not assume the entire year's credits are issued at once.

Credit packs are one-time purchases for the stated quantity. Credits are units for using Apertelle features; they are not money, a deposit or an investment and cannot be withdrawn for cash. The app displays the credit cost applicable to a creation. Rewards, when offered, depend on the stated eligibility and server-confirmed grants. Purchase and balance displays remain subject to verification.

Future changes to prices or benefits will be handled with notices or consent where required by Google Play rules or applicable law. These terms do not authorize hidden charges or waive statutory consumer rights.

6. Cancellation, restoration and refunds

Manage or cancel subscriptions in Google Play subscriptions. Uninstalling Apertelle or deleting its workspace does not cancel a subscription. Cancellation generally stops future renewals; access for the already-paid period follows the purchase conditions.

For duplicate charges, missing verified purchases or failed creation charges, use in-app feedback or contact us with relevant non-sensitive transaction information. Do not send full payment credentials. Refund eligibility and handling follow Google Play's refund policies and applicable law. These terms do not promise an automatic refund or credit return merely because a screen is closed or an output is unsatisfactory.

The Restore function checks eligible purchases for the current Google Play account. A successful store payment and delivery of app credits or entitlements are separate steps; contact support if verified delivery remains missing.

7. Ending use and deleting your account

You may stop using the app at any time. To request account deletion, open Profile → Delete account → confirm. The app sends the authenticated request directly, without requiring an email or manual approval. Deletion can remove access to creations and app-side entitlements; save any results you wish to keep first.

The Privacy Policy explains the scope and limits of deletion, including records or copies handled separately. Deleting an account is not a refund request or subscription cancellation. We may restrict or terminate access for serious misuse or legal requirements, subject to applicable rights and any notice required by law.

8. Service availability and responsibility

We aim to provide a usable service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free AI output or availability of a particular template or provider. Maintenance, network failures and third-party service changes may affect operation.

You are responsible for reviewing your inputs and outputs and for how you use or publish them. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including mandatory consumer protections. We do not require arbitration or waive your right to seek remedies available under applicable law.

9. Changes and applicable rights

We may update these terms as features, purchase arrangements or legal requirements change. The effective date appears above. We will provide appropriate notice of material changes and seek agreement where required. Changes do not remove rights that already arose or override mandatory protections in your country.

If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. Questions or disputes may be raised using the contact below without limiting any right to contact Google Play, a consumer authority or a competent court.
