Privacy Policy

How information is used when you create, and the choices you have.

Apertelle for Android · Effective October 20, 2026 · English

1. Scope and operator

This policy applies to Apertelle for Android, package com.apertelle.android, operated by BAO TENG TECHNOLOGY LIMITED (Google Play developer name: BaoTeng). It describes our Android app and related creation services.

Apertelle provides online AI image and short-video creation, an anonymous workspace, subscriptions and credits. You do not need to register with an email and password to start. Anonymous access still involves identifiers and information about your use of the service.

2. Information we process

  • Creation content: photos you select, prompts you enter or choose, template and generation settings, generated images and videos, task identifiers, status and history.
  • Workspace and device information: an installation-generated identifier, service account identifier, authentication/session information, app and device version, device model, selected language, region and timezone. Network connections expose information such as your IP address to the services receiving them.
  • Purchases and credits: Google Play product and purchase identifiers or tokens, verification and subscription status, balances and credit transactions. Google Play handles payment details; Apertelle does not provide a payment-card entry form.
  • Usage information: screens, interactions, sessions, feature and purchase-flow events, and related app/device identifiers collected through Firebase Analytics. We associate your anonymous workspace identifier with Analytics.
  • Support and reports: feedback text, an optional reply email, app version and account association. A report about your creation includes its server task identifier and complaint category. Reporting does not automatically attach the result media.
  • Rewards: check-in and any available invitation or redemption records used to determine eligibility and record credit changes.

3. How information is used

We use information to authenticate and maintain your workspace; process and deliver creations; display history; verify purchases and maintain entitlements and credits; process deletion requests; respond to feedback and content reports; operate and protect the service; and measure usage and campaign attribution.

Processing necessary to deliver a requested feature is separate from permission to use your information for other purposes. Where applicable law requires consent or another legal basis, that requirement continues to apply. This policy does not itself replace a required consent.

4. Photos and cloud AI processing

When you agree to AI processing and submit a creation, your selected photos, prompts, generation settings and associated task information are sent through our service to third-party AI service providers for generation or image preprocessing. Generated media is stored and displayed in your history.

This processing takes place on servers. Selecting a photo does not grant access to your entire photo library. A face in your selected photo is part of the image sent for processing. Only submit material you are entitled to use and obtain the necessary permission before submitting another person's photo.

You can cancel the AI disclosure without uploading. An agreement is remembered for your workspace and the applicable disclosure version. Leaving a screen after submission does not recall data already sent. Uploading is not a promise that provider or storage copies disappear immediately when generation finishes.

5. Analytics, attribution and permissions

Firebase Analytics

Firebase Analytics starts enabled and measures app use, including interactions and purchase-related events. It can process app-instance identifiers, device/app information and approximate location derived from network information. This Android app disables advertising-ID collection and ad-personalisation settings. Those settings do not disable Analytics, and the app currently has no global Analytics opt-out switch.

See Privacy and Security in Firebase for Google's handling of Firebase data.

Server-side campaign attribution

After a workspace is established, the app obtains signed network information from our signing service and sends that signed value with its workspace and App identifiers to our attribution service. This supports associating an advertising click with a workspace when a match is available. It is separate from Firebase Analytics. A successful request does not necessarily mean a campaign match was found.

The Android app does not use Apple's tracking permission or IDFA. The optional Meta SDK is not activated in this Android configuration; this does not mean server-side campaign measurement is absent.

Android controls

You select input photos using Android's system picker. Saving or sharing a result happens when you request it. Any applicable system permissions can be managed in Android Settings. A destination you choose in the share sheet receives the selected file under that destination's own practices.

6. Service providers and transfers

Information needed to deliver these functions is processed by backend authentication, database and cloud-storage providers; third-party AI processing providers; media-delivery providers; Google Play for purchases; and Google/Firebase for analytics. Our support service processes submitted feedback and reports.

Service providers may process information outside your country, where privacy laws may differ. Cross-border processing remains subject to applicable data-protection requirements. This policy does not state that information remains only on your device or in your country.

Media is delivered through network URLs. Do not treat a media link as a password-protected secret or upload confidential documents on that assumption. Copies you export or share are handled separately by their recipients.

7. Retention and deletion

Workspace, creation and transaction records support access to history, unfinished tasks, balances and purchase verification. Closing the app, completing a creation or uninstalling the app does not automatically erase those service records. Retention needs differ by record, including continued delivery of your requested service, transaction reconciliation, support and security, and applicable legal obligations.

Deleting a creation

The Delete action removes the creation from visible history by marking its task deleted. It is not the same as erasing every underlying media object, AI-provider copy or backup.

Deleting your account

Open Profile → Delete account → confirm. The app sends a deletion request using your current authenticated identity directly to the service. Email and manual approval are not prerequisites. Local session and workspace data are cleared after the service confirms success. A failed or unknown response is not shown as successful deletion.

The account-deletion service removes the account and associated subscription logs and deletes uploaded objects located by its deletion process. A separate deletion audit record remains, including account and App identifiers, deletion time and available subscription reference information. Account deletion does not automatically establish erasure of all generated-media/CDN copies, provider records, analytics or attribution records, logs or backups. Their handling follows separate service processes; we do not promise immediate or complete erasure from every system.

For information about retention of a particular category or to exercise additional privacy rights, contact the privacy email below. Such contact is separate from the direct in-app account-deletion action. We may need to verify ownership before disclosing account information. Do not send authentication tokens or passwords.

Deleting the app or your account does not cancel a Google Play subscription. Manage it separately in Google Play subscriptions. Files saved to your gallery or shared elsewhere remain outside the account-deletion operation.

8. Your choices and rights

You choose whether to submit photos and prompts, purchase, share or send feedback. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of personal information; restrict or object to processing; withdraw consent; or complain to your local data-protection authority.

Contact us to make a privacy request, identifying the app and the nature of the request. We may request proportionate ownership verification. An anonymous workspace has no required email address, so we may be unable to identify records without sufficient verification. We handle requests and explain applicable limitations in accordance with applicable law. Withdrawing consent does not undo processing that already occurred lawfully.

9. Security

The Android app uses HTTPS service connections and Android Keystore-backed protection for saved session material. Keep your device secure and do not share session credentials. No network or storage system can guarantee absolute security.

10. Adults only

Apertelle for Android is intended for adults aged 18 and older. It is not intended for children or teenagers under 18. Contact us if you believe a person under 18 has provided personal information through this app.

11. Updates

We may update this policy as the service or its processing changes. The effective date appears above. Material changes will be communicated appropriately, and additional consent will be requested where required.
